Milly and I (Matt) started our business 5 years ago with the simple aim to make enough money to not work for someone else, and achieve a sustainable work / life balance for our family. We quickly discovered that running our own business is a great opportunity to succeed, however, success and work / life balance can be two very hard things to align.

The business grew quickly, and the workload was high, leaving me working all day on the tools and all night on the computer. Although the money was great, the balance was non-existent.

Adam came into the life of Summit Electrical after 1 year of trading and after a discussion about, well, what to do next? We wanted to figure out how we could continue to grow and develop sustainably and get more of our desired lifestyle back.

Adam played a pivotal role in the next phase of our business with multiple sessions breaking down our business to the bare bones of its structure, outlining the methods and processes we were using at the time, and helping us develop a new business model to move forward with.
